Welcome to the inaugural edition of my newsletter!
After considerable contemplation, I decided now is the opportune moment to commence this communication. For those unfamiliar with Sandra Tarno Art, allow me to formally introduce myself. I am a self-taught artist who finds immense joy in this creative journey, which began in 2022.
My professional background includes extensive experience in the corporate sector, primarily within the medical and insurance industries. I previously owned a retail establishment from 2004 until 2012, successfully navigating the economic downturn of 2008; unfortunately, my business did not withstand the challenges of 2012. In a significant health battle, I was diagnosed with Stage III Lung Cancer in 2023 but have proudly been cancer-free since February, 2025. I am scheduled for another CT scan this month. Having been married since 1984 and residing in Texas throughout my life, I am a mother to three grown children and a proud grandmother of two.
My passion lies in creating art that evokes joy and elicits smiles from those who experience it—that is my ultimate aspiration.
This month has been particularly eventful, and I am excited to share our latest updates and developments with you.
